How old do I have to be to use RLY?
You must be 13 years or older to use RLY.
How do I capture a Reel?
You can either use RLY’s in-app camera to take Reels or you can use your iPhone camera to take Live Photos which the RLY app turns into HD-looping Reels.
How do I turn on Live Photos?
Open the iPhone Camera App, make sure that your camera is set to Photo Mode and that your Live Photo Capture is turned on. The Live Photo icon should be yellow.
Why does RLY need access to my Photos?
The RLY app requires access to your photo library in order to (1) display Live Photos that you have previously taken and can post to RLY and (2) to save Reels that you capture using the in-app camera to the device. Live Photos do not leave your device until you specifically choose to post it to your profile or private groups.
How do I report content?
If you see something on RLY that does not follow RLY’s community guidelines, we encourage you to report it. Simply tap ‘...’ and then tap Report.
How do I block a user?
Tap their username and go to their profile, Tap the ‘...’ in the top right, Tap Block. By blocking a user they will be unable to see or interact with your content and you will be unable to see or interact with theirs.
How do I change my username?
Go to your profile, tap Settings in the top right, tap Change Username, type in your desired username.
Community Guidelines

TL;DR - The Short Version
Create good content (not spam) and do your part create an awesome and respectful community on RLY. We’re all here to have fun and connect with our friends and interesting people. We value acceptance and diversity. It’s super important that RLY remains a safe space for everyone to be themselves.

The Real Deal
Below are some important guidelines for using the RLY app. Keep in mind that overstepping these guidelines may result in your account being disabled, deleted, or other restrictions.

Illegal Activities
Don’t post content that is against the law or promotes illegal activities. Don’t use RLY to conduct illegal activities this includes the promotion or sale of illegal drugs.

Adult Content, Nudity, Sexually Suggestive Content Involving Minors
We prohibit accounts that promote or distribute pornographic content Never create, save, post, or send nude or sexual content involving people under the age of 18 — even of yourself. This is against the law and can result in serious consequences. We have zero tolerance for anyone threatening to post intimate images of others. RLY will make every effort to eliminate reels posted in an effort to shame or harass someone as quickly as possible.

Harassment & Bullying
Deliberate actions taken on RLY to make someone feel bad constitutes bullying and or harassment, this is not tolerated in our community. If someone blocks you, that is your signal leave them alone. It’s not okay to contact them from another account. Note that because we support free-expression, we will generally allow a stronger conversation around public figures.

Invasions of Privacy
Do not share Reels that have been taken in a private setting such as a bathroom, locker room or home without that person's explicit consent. If someone asks you to remove a Reel that features them, you should do it.

Threats & Violence
Never threaten to harm an individual, a group of individuals, or someone’s property. We take threats of violence seriously and may report content that we believe presents a plausible threat to law enforcement. Don't post content that contains gratuitous or celebratory violence.

Hate Speech
We’re a community that believes strongly in the diversity. We do not tolerate hate speech on our platform. Don't post discriminatory content that degrades a person or a group of people’s race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability, or veteran status.

We do not tolerate for spam or spam accounts. This means that you should not generate artificial reactions or comments, or repeatedly contact people for commercial purposes without their consent.

We’ll remove or disable accounts reported to us that promote self-harm including eating disorders. RLY strives to create a supportive environment and self-harm content is counter to those beliefs. We do understand that individuals may be seeking support from others by posting such content but we do not condone the sharing of such content.

Authentic Content
Only post content that you have the right to use.

Don’t pretend to be someone else including a person you know, a public figure, or a brand.

We prohibit any content that promotes or glorifies terrorism.

If you violate the Community Guidelines, we may take action including: removing the offending content, disabling or terminating your account, or notifying law enforcement. In the event that your account is terminated for a violation of our Terms of Service or these Guidelines, you may not use RLY again.

In order to cultivate a diverse and inspiring community on RLY, we take these guidelines seriously and we think you should too.
